I've spent over a decade working as an actor (The Outrun, Complicite, ENO, BBC TV/Radio), and as an actor-agent for a co-operative agency. I Know what it feels like to stand in front the lens, wondering "What do I do with my hands? What's my 'type'? What do casting directors actually want? Do I look OK!?"
I also work as a director, movement director and teacher (Senior Tutor at Mountview, Associate at GSA, Visiting Tutor at RCSSD, The Actors' Centre and City Academy). Which means when we work together, I'm not just pointing a camera at you, I'm helping you find ease, intention and presence.
I'll work with you as an actor, not just a subject, so you can connect to yourself and the craft you know.
Together we'll find the balance between what agents and casting professionals need, and what is true to you.
Portraits
A good portrait doesn’t just show how you look, it captures who you are, what you do, your values, your story.
I don't approach portraiture as surface-level. My background as a director and movement practitioner means I'm interested in what's underneath - the quiet strength, the complexity, the specific presence that makes you you. Whether you're a fellow creative, a professional needing profile shots, or marking a moment in time, I’ll work with you to find a space where something honest can unfold.
I like to collaborate, not impose. Sessions can be tailored entirely to your context - relaxed natural light, sculpted studio work, or something more expressive. We can work in your space, my space or outdoors.
You don’t need to perform or pose, just show up as you are.

I'll bring along an insider’s eye - sensitive to rhythm, atmosphere and the specific demands of live work.
As a director and movement artist (including live cinema work with Kip Williams), I know when to stay out of the way and when to catch the moment. The goal is images that feel alive, authentic and true to the work you’ve made.

Deposit & Cancellation
There is a non-refundable deposit for all sessions of £50.
You can cancel or reschedule with no further cost up to 72 hours before the shoot.
If you cancel within 72 hours, you will be invoiced for the full session fee.
